Buildings feature” porous facades, airy
pathways, and communal gardens, hinting at an “utopian urban future. The specific characteristics are predicted to unfold as a direct
result of well-understood natural behaviours. Spatial hierarchy and its connection with nature
is a result of natural models that respond to
external stimuli. The use of living
systems creates a more vibrant and sustainable life for both the occupants and
city. Topographical architecture that
blurs architecture and landscape results in
structure, fully representative of its meaning. Design of
the building is based on the transparency
and the relation between essential usage of a structure. This is a kind of
transparency in architecture referring to the function soul of the building. Giving a unique perspective and creating a semi-open space as a

Project Two Final Submission
Concept 1 derived from the work of Peter Eisenman:
Demonstrating the interwoven notions of simplicity and complexity achieved through whitewash of colour over complex amalgamation of forms and the use of simple geometries to create complex entities.
Concept 2 derived from the work of Aldo Van Eyck:
the exploration of the opposition of heavy and light, creating the illusions of lightness and of large masses floating.
Textures:
Theme: Sustainability.
This lightrail is focused around with minimal impacts the the environment in which it resides. The lightrail is positioned above the road as to save space and not impact on existing infrastructure and environment. Materials are kept to a minimum as to lower the embodied carbon of the building whilst not impacting its function.
Electro-liquid aggregation:
Heavy and bulky forms can typically be transformed into lighter structures through the subtraction and construction of simple geometries to create more complex spaces and thus making interesting and sustainable buildings.

This image demonstrates that the waiting platform appears to float over the road, which makes a large heavy mass appear light. Furthermore it also shows the use of simple white coloring of complex geometries.
Basic shapes and forms are utalised in the stair case, however he texture creates a complexity and synthesizes the two together. The large openings transform the thick mass into something lighter.
This image demonstrates the use of simple geometries to create complex forms, thus highlighting the opposition notions of simplicity and Complexity. The Stairs appear to float and the hollowed out form of the undercover area furthers the opposition of heavy and light to create the illusion of lightness.
